How did the Christian Religion start?
1) How did the Jews react to Roman rule? The Jews were unhappy and a few of them revolted against the Romans.
2) Were Jewish rebels successful? No. One of the times the Jews revolted, they were all killed and banned from Jerusalem.
3) What happened during the Life of Jesus? During the life of Jesus, Jesus traveled around the middle east spreading his father's word and healing through miracles.
4) What did Jesus teach? Jesus taught to love one another and that peace was the answer.
5) What was the crucifixion? Crucifixion was when the Romans slashed Jesus upon the cross.
6) Who were Peter and Paul? Peter and Paul were 2 of Jesus' disciples. Peter went on to become the first Pope of the Christian church.

2) Why does Rome adopt Christianity? The Romans eventually convert to Christianity after Emperor Constantine himself gets baptized.
3) What is the new testament? The new testament was the telling of the life of Jesus Christ. This is also where/how the Christians and Jews differ. As the Christians believe Jesus was the son of God and the Jews did not.
4) Who is the Pope? The pope is the leader, politically and spiritually, of the Roman Catholic church. Currently, our pope is Pope Francis. Pope Francis lives and rules in Vatican City.
